Alex Hales maiden half-century in Pakistan tour 2022 – England 1st T20 win over Pakistan 

England men’s cricket team tour of Pakistan 2022 – England won the first t20 against Pakistan by six wickets. Alex Hales hit a half-century of 53 runs on his comeback to the team. Harry Brook played spectacular innings of 42 of 25 balls to lead England to victory.

The PCB – Pakistan Cricket Board has spent more than $5 million on security to make this series secure for both teams. They have issued 5,000 soldiers, a helicopter escort, a Swat unit on the stadium roof, and dozens of sniper teams on the surrounding apartment blocks to guard both teams.

This t20 series is a fundraiser for the Flood Relief Fund to help the millions of people affected by the monsoons in the country. The Pakistan team wore specially designed shirts in the match to show sympathy for the people who were affected by the flood.

England won the toss and elected to bowl first against Pakistan, which proved good to lead the victory of England. Pakistan put their two openers, Babar Azam and Muhammad Rizwan front of the English bowlers, and they made 85 runs partnership till Adil Rashid googly to Babar. Later, Rizwan charged and made 17 runs in an over of David Willey, and it was a bad over for England.

Pakistan’s innings went down when they lost the three wickets of Haider Ali, Rizwan, and Shan in just 11 balls, which was a comeback for England in the match. Later, Iftikhar hit three sixes to revive the innings and Pakistan back into the game.

Wood finished the Pakistan innings with three wickets of Nawaz, Iftikhar, and Naseem. Pakistan set a target of 158 for England to win the first t20, which never felt like being enough for Pakistan.

England put their two openers, Alex Hales and Phil Salt, to complete the target of 158, but Dahani took Phil’s wicket and broke the opener partnership. Later, Shan dropped a catch of Hales, which proved good for Hales to make its half-century. Usman got David Malan and Ben Duckett wickets, but Hales and Broke went on the innings. Later Hales was caught by Babar on the ball of Rauf, but he played spectacular innings of 53 of 40 balls.

After Hales’ wicket, England needed 17 runs off 21 balls to win, which was done by Broke partnership with Moeen Ali. England wins the first t20 of 7 t20 matches by 6 wickets and leads the series by 1-0.
